Legendary Broadway stars will be coming to Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in an intimate cabaret setting starting in July.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, one of Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston's top-five-selling shows of all time, is back by popular demand July 11-21 starring Boston television personality and IRNE Award winner Scott Wahle as Tevye. Reprising the role that earned him critical acclaim 10 years ago, Wahle leads a cast of 45 in this timeless musical based on Sholem Aleichem's beloved stories.Donna Sorbello, the IRNE Award-winning actress who starred as Mrs. Higgins in last season's My Fair Lady at Reagle Music Theatre, returns as Tevye's wife, Golde.

Mikhail Baryshnikov, founder and artistic director of the Baryshnikov Arts Center, critically acclaimed film, television and theater actor and one of the world's greatest ballet dancers, will receive an honorary degree and deliver the main address at Northwestern University's 155th commencement.

Greek mythology meets burlesque, puppetry and a modern Americana score in ICARUS, the latest original theatrical presentation from acclaimed Boston-based ensemble Liars & Believers. Creators of last year's gritty NYMF hit Le Cabaret Grimm, Liars & Believers will present ICARUS as part of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

BEND IN THE ROAD, a new musical comedy, is an official selection of the New York Musical Theatre Festival's (NYMF) 2013 Next Link Project. Casting for Musical Theatre West's (MTW) production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's international hit musical Sunset Boulevard , has been announced by MTW Executive Director/Producer Paul Garman and Director Larry Raben. The 1950 Oscar-winning motion picture of the same title first starred screen legends Gloria Swanson (as Norma Desmond) and William Holden (as Joe Gillis) before it opened as a musical in London's West End starring Patti LuPone and Kevin Anderson at the Adelphi Theatre July 12, 1993 where it ultimately ran for 1529 performances.

New Jersey Youth Theatre (NJYT) has spent the 25 years producing and mounting professional-level musical theatre productions with casts consisting of children, teenagers, and young adults. In 1997, when the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) opened its doors, New Jersey Youth Theatre took residency in the PAC's Victoria Theatre. Over a period of 15 years, NJYT and NJPAC produced award-winning shows that utilized the talent of over 600 young performers throughout the state. For the first time in 15 years, New Jersey Youth Theatre has separated from NJPAC and has ventured out on its own, returning to its community roots.

New York: MATA HARI IN 8 BULLETS is an official selection of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Conceived and composed byDavid Rhymer, lyrics Blake Brooker and David Rhymer, choreographed by Odette Heyn directed by Peter Schneider and starringOnalea Gilbertson as Mata Hari. MARRY HARRY is an official selection of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre and will be presented by the New York Musical Theatre Festival. The 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) AND Forte Musical Theatre Guild present Crossing Swords a world premiere musical comedy by Joe Slabe, nominated for five Betty Mitchell Awards and three Calgary Critics' Awards. NYMF veteran Igor Goldin directs a cast of five including Linda Balgord (Bway: The Pirate Queen, CATS, La Cage, Gypsy standby for Patti Lupone; Nat. Tour: Sunset Boulevard), Ali Gordon (Regional: Fiddler on the Roof, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown), Steven Hauck (Bway: Irena's Vow), Lyle Colby Mackston (Papermill: 25th Annual...Spelling Bee), and Marrick Smith(New York: Love's Labour's Lost). Crossing Swords is being staged at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street (bet. 9th & 10th Avenues) in NYC for five performances from Monday, July 22 through Sunday, July 28, 2013.
