ANTHEM, a stage adaption of Ayn Rand's novel. Adapted for the stage by composer Jeff Britting, curator of the Ayn Rand Archives, Anthem plays at The Jerome Robbins Theater at the Baryshnikov Arts Center (450 W. 37th Street). The tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Memphis. WEST SIDE STORY will open at the The Orpheum Theatre on Tuesday, November 5. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction is recreated for the tour by David Saint,the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

New York Live Arts begins the 2013-14 Studio Series work-in-process showings with Elena Demyanenko and Dai Jian's collaborative work, Blue Room, tonight and tomorrow, October 4th and 5th at 6:00pm, in the third floor studios at New York Live Arts. A 2013-14 Dance Theater Workshop Commissioning Fund Commission, the Studio Series showing of Blue Room will precede the world premiere of the complete work to be shown in New York Live Arts' Theater in February 2014.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) has announced its fall 2013 line-up of artist residency activities and public presentations. The season, which runs through December 20, focuses on supporting artistic development and providing audiences access to experience innovative new work at no cost.

Curtains up! AIR TWYLA propels Pacific Northwest Ballet into its new season with a trio of works by its first artist-in-residence, renowned choreographer Twyla Tharp.
