A Noise Within Adds Dates for NOISES OFF

 A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, is bringing back its smash hit production of MICHAEL FRAYN's hilarious NOISES OFF from now until Saturday, May 26, 2018, reviving a critical and audience favorite for all to enjoy. Two performances on Saturday, May 26 were just added due to popular demand.

Handel And Haydn Society To Perform THE FAIRY QUEEN

The Handel and Haydn Society continues its 2017-18 Season with two performances of Henry Purcell's The Fairy Queen on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall. Conducted by Harry Christophers and narrated by Antonia Christophers, Purcell's exquisite music is made vivid and colorful with ingenious dramatic effects and an entertaining script by Jeremy Sams, creator of the Metropolitan Opera's The Enchanted Island. The result is a fresh-and-fun riff on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, as seen through Queen Titania's eyes.

The FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training continues its 2017-18 season with Jean Anouilh's The Rehearsal : a comedic satire about class, love, and sex in the French aristocracy. The Rehearsal opens on Wednesday, February 21 and plays through March 11 in the Cook Theatre at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. A special pay-what-you-can preview performance will be offered to the public on Tuesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. with a $3 minimum.

Producers John Frost and Suzanne Jones today announced their canine stars who will play the role of Toto in the upcoming Australian tour of the world's favourite musical, The Wizard of Oz. Taking on the role of Dorothy's loyal companion will be Australian Cairn Terriers Flick and Trouble, who will share the role of Toto. The producers are also delighted to announce that they will be partnering with RSPCA as their official charity partner, which will see the production raise funds for the charity.
