Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES Adds 3 Matinees, 7/28, 8/4 & 11

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company has announced three additional performances of Saturday matinees at 2pm of their hit production of the regional premiere of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The Hound of the Baskervilles" adapted by Steve Canny. The additional performances are July 28, August 4 and 11 at 2pm.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company concludes its fantastic and popular eighteenth season with William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" opening tonight, May 11. This production features CSC Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips as Shylock, CSC Ensemble Member Kelly Mengelkoch as Portia and introducing to Cincinnati audiences, Jared Joplin as Antonio, the Merchant of Venice. "The Merchant of Venice" opens tonight and runs through June 3 2012. The production design is generously sponsored by Taft, Stettinius and Hollister.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company have announced their season line up for 2012-13, featuring a variety of Shakespeare plays and literary adaptations as well as THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. On tour 2012-13 will be Two Hour's Traffic's productions of THE TEMPEST and MACBETH, beginning August 5.

CST to Host College Student and Adult Summer Intensive

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company will host a Summer Intensive for College Students and Adults May 29-June 2, 2012, 11am-4pm, Tuesday-Saturday. Classes May 29-June 1 will be held at Xavier University. A performance on June 2 at 3pm will be held at the CSC Theatre.
