The Righteous Brothers can rightfully claim to have fathered the genre "blue-eyed soul," and as the singer who held down the low-end of the duo, Bill Medley's voice-raw and emotional-is a virtual trademark in popular music. In the mid-1960s, the Righteous Brothers became a fixture on Top Forty radio, with You're My Soul and Inspiration, Unchained Melody and You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling, the most played song in American radio history and more. For his Three Stages performance, the Grammy award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will be joined on stage by his daughter McKenna Medley.

Grammy winner Jennifer Warnes, a singer-songwriter best known for introducing two Academy Award-winning best songs-"I've Had The Time of My Life," a duet with Bill Medley from Dirty Dancing and "Up Where We Belong," a duet with Joe Cocker from An Officer and a Gentleman, as well as for her top ten hit 'Right Time of the Night,' will perform at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College on Wednesday, October 31, at 8:00 p.m. Co-presented by Long Island Woman magazine, this will be her only New York appearance.

The Orange County Performing Arts Center's Free or All series continues this summer with the enormously popular and eagerly awaited return of free Movie Mondays on the community plaza. This year's line-up will be the biggest and best ever with five great movies: the timeless classic The Wizard of Oz with Judy Garland; the screwball comedy Some Like it Hot starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon; the Dickensian musical Oliver! being presented in partnership with public radio station KCRW-Santa Monica (89.9 FM and www.KCRW.com); the coming-of-age story Dirty Dancing featuring Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze; and the inspiring documentary about New York City school students learning to dance in Mad Hot Ballroom, which was chosen in an audience poll last summer. The Center has always been 'the place' in Orange County to experience Broadway's best and brightest, and Movie Mondays offers audiences the most fun and exciting musical and dance films under the stars and all for free.
