The Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots celebrates its 500th Performance tonight, June 19th, at the Hirschfeld Theatre.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots will celebrate its 500th Performance on Thursday, June 19th with a social media contest for fans. Beginning today, fans can enter to win tickets to the 500th Performance by using a Do-It-Yourself Kinky Boots Card to add the show's iconic red boots to their photos, and sharing those photos online using hashtag #Kinky500.. On Tuesday, June 17th, the five most creative photos will be selected, and the winners will be given a pair of tickets to celebrate with the cast on June 19th at the Hirschfeld Theatre.

Entertaining and well-acted, this one is worth your time. Tickets are only $15. There's no reason not to go.

It offers a fun time and one can't ask for much more than that.

The cast underscored the point that no matter how you slice it - whether in character or not - they are true musicians whose talents shine through in any medium.

The clamor for tickets was probably for good reason. Those that were lucky enough to obtain tickets were able to see how truly versatile a vocal performer she is and how she can really command a room with just her voice and natural charm.

Dark and edgy is what Signature does best and this is no exception.

Theatre professionals who missed IDAHO! at NYMF will have an opportunity to see it in staged reading this Friday, April 25th only. The new musical, named 'Best of Fest' was met with cascades of laughter during its sold-out run, prompting the festival to add extra performances. The show has been described as "a rollicking satire that takes the sexually-charged subtext of the classic musical and puts it front and center." One four-time Tony winning producer called it simply, "A hoot and a half!"

I only wish the exceptionally talented cast and creative team had more to work with in terms of this particular script.

All in all, it's educational and fun and you can't ask for much more than that.

Buika's vocal talent is undeniable.
