Boiler Room Theatre to Revive LE MIZ! A Tale of Two Cities, Opens 8/13

The Boiler Room Theatre (BRT), Williamson County's residentprofessional theatre company, continues its 10 th season with Les Miz! A Tale of Two Cities opening August 13, 2010 at the theatre, located in the historic Factory at Franklin, 230 Franklin Rd., Building Six, in Franklin, Tenn. for a run through September 4.

Nashville's Music City Theatre Presents Gender-Bending SONGS WE'LL NEVER SING, 10/16-10/18

Music City Theatre will allow performers to take on roles usually played by the opposite gender in their SONGS WE'LL NEVER SING: BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY concert on October 16th, 17th and 18th. The cast will feature Barry Jobe, Bo Sebastian and Jeffrey Williams singing songs from Broadway hits like A Chorus Line, Mamma Mia!, Beauty and the Beast, and Rent.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's historic rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar bows at Boiler Room Theatre Friday night, August 21, continuing through September 19 at the Franklin theatre. Directed by Jamey Green, with choreography by Billy Ditty, Jesus Christ Superstar is widely regarded as the first rock opera, originally created as a concept album at the end of the '60s.
