But Mike's master plan backfires when Axl likes the job so much that he wants to quit school and lead the life of a quarryman. Meanwhile, Frankie is devastated when she fears that she accidentally prayed away Sue's cross-country team after it's cut by the school; and while practicing a magic trick, Brick makes the main TV remote disappear - and can't figure out how to make it reappear -- on 'The Middle,' WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 29 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Building on its ratings successes and the pop culture following of its late night talk show, Bravo will premiere five consecutive nights of 'Watch What Happens: Live' for the first time ever and will launch its first New Year's Eve special. Beginning Sunday, December 12, 'Watch What Happens: Live' will air five original nights with a star-studded guest lineup including Anderson Cooper, Diane Von Furstenberg, Amy Sedaris and Denise Richards. Rounding out the year on December 31st, Bravo will air 'Watch What Happens Live: Andy's New Years Eve Party,' the network's first New Year's Eve special hosted by Andy Cohen live from the Bravo clubhouse. Party guests include Sandra Bernhard, Megan McCain, Housewives from coast to coast; special appearances by newsmakers of the year and performances from Jay Sean and Bravolebritie Kim Zolciak.

Casting is complete for the world premiere of An American Country Christmas Carol, a new musical that will be presented in a staged reading at Franklin's Boiler Room Theatre on December 5, 6 and 12 at 8 p.m. Heading the cast as Ebenezer Scrugg is Larry Tobias, whose selected credits include the national tour of Stand By Your Man and numerous productions of Ring of Fire. In Nashville he has been seen as Pap in Tennessee Rep's Big River and in Studio Tenn's Our Town.

Bravo's hit docu-series 'Flipping Out' ends its successful fourth season run earning its most watched season among total viewers, up 14 percent versus season three, according to Nielsen Media Research. In addition, the season four finale was up 17 percent among total viewers versus the season three finale. The season, which followed everyone's favorite obsessive-compulsive house-flipper Jeff Lewis and his family of disgruntled yet lovable employees, averaged 1.2 million total viewers and 745,000 adults 18-49.
