GLUTEN! begins performances on Thursday, November 19 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 5. Press opening is Tuesday, November 24 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Much of what transpires onstage on Jason Sherwood's realistic set is quite hilarious, but at the core of this world premiere musical we also have a sweet and charming story that's not so much about man vs. woman in the standard and expected way. It's more than that. And that's a good thing.

The OBIE Award-winning NAATCO, National Asian American Theater Company, continues their 25th season with the World Premiere of ??Lloyd Suh's Charles Francis Chan, Jr.'s Exotic Oriental Murder Mystery. Ed Sylvanus Iskandar directs a cast that includes Jeff Biehl, Jennifer Ikeda, Peter Kim, Orville Mendoza, KK Moggie and Jeffrey Omura. This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Walker Space (46 Walker Street) will begin October 26th, with Opening Night set for November 2nd.  Performances continue through November 21st only.

InViolet Theater Company, under the direction of Founding Co-Artistic Directors Michael Henry Harris and Angela Razzano, In association with Melanie Maras, Bryan Tallevi and Andrea Kiefer have announced the off-off Broadway run of SOMMERFUGL, a new play written by Bixby Elliot inspired by the true story of Lili Elbe, the first person to have gender reassignment surgery in 1930.
