GPR Records' first release will be 'Poetic License' featuring 100 poems read by 100 performers of the stage and screen. The CD will be released on April 2nd in celebration of National Poetry Month and will be available on Amazon.com and on itunes. There has never been a spoken word recording that has included so many performers reading such a wide variety of poetry, each selection a personal choice of the performer. GPR Records is presenting this collection in hopes of inspiring audiences with a new appreciation of the spoken word.

Last night, March 18, 2010 the stars of Los Angeles came out for the A Night at Sardi's annual musical revue and gala, benefitting the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Laurie Burrows Grad founded this event 18 years ago in honor of her father, the late playwright Abe Burrows. To date, A Night at Sardi's has raised close to $18 million in the fight against Alzheimer's. Last night's evening raised $1 million alone.

A tuneful, funny musical score meets a giant man-eating plant when Cabrillo Music Theatre's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS devours the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows of all time, with a hit movie and a Broadway revival to its credit, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS takes root on Friday, April 23rd, 2010, and blossoms until Sunday, May 2nd.
