Several Tony Award-winners teamed up to bring an adaptation of the 1988 musical LUCKY STIFF to the big screen. Starring Jason Alexander, the late Dennis Farina, Dominic Marsh, Nikki M. James, Don Amendolia, Pamela Shaw and Kate Shindle, the movie will compete in the 'Feature Film' competition of this year's Montreal World Film Festival. Back in 2000, SEINFELD's Julia Louis-Dreyfus appeared on The Letterman Show for an interview and performance. She was joined on stage by Jerry Seinfeld, and the two sang an adorably ironic version of 'I am Sixteen Going on Seventeen,' from The Sound of Music.

Mandy Patinkin Coming Back to Broadway in 2015?

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra today announced that stage and screen star Mandy Patinkin just withdrew from an upcoming appearance on January 22, 2015 due to a scheduling conflict with an upcoming Broadway production. Patinkin has been replaced by Jason Alexander in the program, which will be held at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Which show Patinkin will return to Broadway in has yet to be announced.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) has confirmed that due a schedule conflict resulting from participation in an upcoming Broadway production, Mandy Patinkin has withdrawn from his engagement with the Orchestra, slated for January 22 at The Music Center at Strathmore and January 23-25, 2015 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. In his place, the BSO welcomes actor Jason Alexander, best known for his portrayal as George Costanza on the hit series 'Seinfeld,' in addition to his lengthy Broadway career. BSO Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly will conduct the program, featuring music and humor as Alexander reminisces about his remarkable and versatile career on the stage and screen, and performs songs from several Broadway favorites, including Music Man, Pippin and Merrily We Roll Along.
