BULLET CATCH Returns to The Arches Tonight

The Arches, Glasgow has announced its autumn theatre season, including the return of one of their most successful productions ever, the smash hit international touring sensation Bullet Catch. The show, which has seen sell-out success in London, Edinburgh, New York and Brazil, will return to The Arches for a 2-week run this month. Each night, an audience member will be asked to fire a gun live on stage, as Rob Drummond attempts the most infamous stunt of them all, so dangerous Houdini himself refused to perform it.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater's World's Stage Program Features Scottish Exchange, Fall 2012

In keeping with the trans-Atlantic relationship, Chicago Shakespeare and Scotland's theater community are engaged in a cultural exchange-one CST production, The Q Brothers' Othello: The Remix, is now playing to wildly enthusiastic response at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the very festival that launched two critically acclaimed National Theatre of Scotland (NTS) productions that are slated for Chicago Shakespeare's fall 2012 World's Stage series: The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, and the return engagement of Black Watch.

With just eight days to go until the start of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, London 2012 Festival presents a ground-breaking series of commissions by disabled and deaf artists in the Unlimited programme. Originally initiated as part of the Cultural Olympiad, the programme represents the largest ever series of commissions to disabled and deaf artists and celebrates their work on an unprecedented scale across the UK.
