Deadline.com reports that THE HOBBIT director Peter Jackson confirms that the saga will be split into three individual films, with the final chapter being released in the summer of 2014.

THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY is coming to theaters on December 14th from New Line Cinema. The fantasy adventure film is directed by Peter Jackson.

The Weinstein Company has released the trailer for its upcoming film version of William Shakespeare's Coriolanus.

'Coriolanus,' a contemporary staging of Shakespeare's classic play about the titular Roman warrior, stars Ralph Fiennes, Gerard Butler, Academy Award winner Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox, Jessica Chastain and James Nesbitt. The film marks Fiennes' directorial debut. CORIOLANUS made its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival earlier this year and will play at the Toronto International Film Festival before hitting theaters in the US on December 2nd.
