The show titled, In the Darkness of Winter: A Medley of Thrilling Tales and Magical Memoirs features several intriguing one act plays by New York City playwright Michael Andrews, James Ferguson and Alex Broun. In the Darkness of Winter debuts this weekend, December 20th and December 21st at The Playroom Theater within the heart of New York City's theater district, Times Square

The One-Minute Play Festival and Boston Playwrights' Theatre (Kate Snodgrass, Artistic Director) continue their dynamic partnership with the The 3rd Annual Boston One-Minute Play Festival, with part of the proceeds to benefit BPT's artist residency programming.

This Spring an elite team of improvisers from ImprovBoston will do in 75 minutes what it takes most playwrights years to do. In Playbook, running Friday nights at 10 p.m. from March 15-April 12, some of IBs top improvisers will complete an unfinished script from a known playwright. Tickets cost $18 and $14 for students. They are available online www.improvboston.com. ImprovBoston is located at 40 Prospect Street.
