'SING OUT, RAISE HOPE,' a benefit concert featuring the nation's premier vocal groups and Broadway star CHRISTINE EBERSOLE, will take place tonight, January 19, 2013 at The Town Hall in New York City. Presented by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni Association the evening will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (www.pedaids.org). The Yale Whiffenpoofs,the NYU N'Harmonics, The Young People's Chorus of New York City-- and special guest Broadway Legend Christine Ebersole - will perform a cappella and choral renditions of American jazz classics, contemporary pop-hits, holiday favorites, and more.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly is currently in talks to renew GLEE for a fifth season. He revealed: 'Yes, that is a real possibility; we're going to negotiate now for the fifth season and beyond, so we're talking about those things now.'

The Laurie Beechman Theater continues its reign as The Happiest (and Gayest) Place on Earth as Dallas DuBois presents a return engagement of DISTORTED DIZNEE. After a 3-month run this summer, this late night cult hit featuring drag stars Holly Dae, Bootsie LeFaris, Pixie Aventura, Shenea DeDranke, and hostess Dallas DuBois begins an open-ended run tonight, January 4.

Broadway star, Shoshana Bean, takes the audience on a journey through the Streisand Songbook. From classic to contemporary, the show features her own interpretations of standards like 'Cry Me A River,' 'On A Clear Day' and "Don't Rain on My Parade." Like her idol Streisand, Shoshana began her career in New York in the off-Broadway revival of Godspell. She then went on to star in the Tony-Award winning original cast of Hairspray and eventually replaced Idina Menzel as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked. Most recently Shoshana wowed listeners with her modern soulful stylings in her solo CD Superhero.

As Sir Robin carols merrily to King Arthur in Monty Python's Spamalot, 'In any great adventure, if you don't want to lose...you won't succeed on Broadway if you don't have any Jews.' Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy is a new, 90-minute documentary by Michael Kantor, creator of the Emmy-winning series, Broadway: The American Musical. Today in 1972, Broadway veteran Taye Diggs was born. In 1996, he originated the role of the landlord Benny in Jonathan Larson's Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent, which also starred his future wife, Idina Menzel. After Rent he appeared as Mr. Black alongside Idina Menzel's character of Kate in Andrew Lippa's off-Broadway production of The Wild Party. Diggs also played The Bandleader in the 2002 film version of the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago and filled in as Billy Flynn on Broadway. He also temporarily filled in for Norbert Leo Butz (an original Rent standby) as the love interest Fiyero of Idina Menzel's Elphaba character in Wicked.

On New Year's Eve her 7:00 pm show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall lasted about 90 minutes, but seemed to fly by in a flash.
