Meanwhile, Sam is convinced that the Warblers cheated at Sectionals, and he makes it his mission to find the evidence. Also, Kurt attempts to find his niche at NYADA. 'SING OUT, RAISE HOPE,' a benefit concert featuring the nation's premier vocal groups and Broadway star CHRISTINE EBERSOLE, will take place tonight, January 19, 2013 at The Town Hall in New York City. Presented by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni Association the evening will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (www.pedaids.org). The Yale Whiffenpoofs,the NYU N'Harmonics, The Young People's Chorus of New York City-- and special guest Broadway Legend Christine Ebersole - will perform a cappella and choral renditions of American jazz classics, contemporary pop-hits, holiday favorites, and more.

FOX in Talks to Renew GLEE for Fifth Season

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly is currently in talks to renew GLEE for a fifth season. He revealed: 'Yes, that is a real possibility; we're going to negotiate now for the fifth season and beyond, so we're talking about those things now.'

Shoshana Bean's Get Happy, The Streisand Songbook Comes to Indianapolis, 2/14-16

Broadway star, Shoshana Bean, takes the audience on a journey through the Streisand Songbook. From classic to contemporary, the show features her own interpretations of standards like 'Cry Me A River,' 'On A Clear Day' and "Don't Rain on My Parade." Like her idol Streisand, Shoshana began her career in New York in the off-Broadway revival of Godspell. She then went on to star in the Tony-Award winning original cast of Hairspray and eventually replaced Idina Menzel as Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked. Most recently Shoshana wowed listeners with her modern soulful stylings in her solo CD Superhero.

Today in 1972, Broadway veteran Taye Diggs was born. In 1996, he originated the role of the landlord Benny in Jonathan Larson's Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent, which also starred his future wife, Idina Menzel. After Rent he appeared as Mr. Black alongside Idina Menzel's character of Kate in Andrew Lippa's off-Broadway production of The Wild Party. Diggs also played The Bandleader in the 2002 film version of the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago and filled in as Billy Flynn on Broadway. He also temporarily filled in for Norbert Leo Butz (an original Rent standby) as the love interest Fiyero of Idina Menzel's Elphaba character in Wicked.

Tony Award-winning Idina Menzel is in a class of performers who simply defy description. She has an extraordinary quality that must be experienced up close and personal, for it's not only the tremendously dynamic voice that impresses but a wildly disarming charisma that holds you spellbound. On New Year's Eve her 7:00 pm show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall lasted about 90 minutes, but seemed to fly by in a flash.
