CONCERT TO END BULLYING, a benefit performance featuring the nation's premier vocal group and stage and screen star TAYE DIGGS - best known for his roles on ABC-TV's 'Private Practice' and on Broadway and feature film versions of Rent - will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Now acccording to an Equity casting notcice, the new musical will get developmental lab in New York City, which will take place April 1-8.

Circle in the Square Theatre School will present THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE, dramatized by le Clanche du Rand from the story by C.S. Lewis, presented by arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company, at Broadway's famed Circle in the Square Theatre (50th St., between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), at 10:30 a.m., March 18 - 22.

Anyone who has seen Rent knows "One Song Glory" as essentially Roger's fight song. Any version of this song I've heard has sounded exactly like Adam Pascal's (the song's originator). Nonetheless, Ms. Espinosa put an entirely new motivation behind the song. For Eden Espinosa, this is not a fight song. It's a song of recognition. The character is dying. However, it is also a song of redemption. This character is not fighting. This character is saying goodbye. It's the polar opposite of the established version of the song.

Elaine Paige celebrates her love of jazz classics and contemporary songs in her own unique style in a one-night-only headline performance tonight, February 27, at 8:00pm at McCallum Theatre. The performance from the cast of LES MISERABLES began with Hugh Jackman taking the stage to perform the new original song 'Suddenly' from Tom Hooper's adaptation, where he was then joined by Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Eddie Redmayne - as well as numerous members from the show's various productions - to perform the Act One Finale 'One Day More', while Anne Hathaway will sing a section of 'I Dreamed A Dream'.
