Black Box Studios presents THE PILLOWMAN by award-winning Irish playwright Martin McDonagh (B'way: The Cripple of Inishmaan, A Behanding in Spokane, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, The Lonesome West, The Beauty Queen of Leenane), directed by Black Box Performing Arts Center's artistic director, Matt Okin. Black Box Studios continues to serve the NJ arts community with their March programming, which kicked off with their fourth edition of Improv Bowl, and added performances of family favorite, The Tale of the Dragon's Tail.  This month's repertoire includes readings of classics by Bertolt Brecht, and the first Uncensored Adolescents at the Black Box Performing Arts Center.

Black Box Studios presents a benefit concert of the Tony award winning musical PASSING STRANGE, with book by Stew, music and lyrics by Stew and Heidi Rodewald, and created in collaboration with Annie Dorsen. Directed by Matt Okin, with musical direction by Jane Cardona, and Huey Esquire.
