WEST SIDE STORY Tour Ends Philadelphia Run 4/8

The tour of the Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Philadelphia. WEST SIDE STORY performs at the Academy of Music through April 8 as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization.

The national tour of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Tony Award®-winning new musical inspired by the true story of four rock 'n' roll icons, will make its Sacramento premiere April 17 - 22 at Community Center Theater as part of the Broadway Sacramento series. Tickets are also available at the Wells Fargo Pavilion Box Office,1419 H Street, Sacramento, and at the Convention Center Box Office, 1301 L Street, Sacramento. Tickets start at $19. Evening performances are Tuesday, April 17 through Saturday, April 21, at 8 p.m.; matinee performances are Thursday, April 19, Saturday, April 21, and Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Broadway Sacramento is presented by California Musical Theatre and sponsored by Wells Fargo.

Magic Johnson Set for MAGIC/BIRD Talkback, 4/13

Fran Kirmser and Tony Ponturo, the producers of the new Broadway play MAGIC/BIRD, announced today that Hall of Famer Earvin "Magic" Johnson will hold a talkback for ticketholders following the 2pm matinee performance at the Longacre Theater (220 West 48th Street) on Friday April, 13th.

Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS will continue to blow the roof off of theatres across the country into the 2012 -2013 season. The season will kick off on September 11th in Portland, OR at the Keller Auditorium, and a return engagement is scheduled in the city where it all began - Memphis, TN at the Orpheum Theatre. On Wednesday, March 14th MEMPHIS celebrated its' 1,000th performance on Broadway where it continues to bring audiences to their feet on a daily basis.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced casting for its production of First You Dream: The Music of Kander & Ebb in the Eisenhower Theater June 8 to July 1, 2012. The musical revue will star Heidi Blickenstaff, James Clow, Alan H. Green, Leslie Kritzer, Patina Miller, and Matthew Scott. Originally produced at Signature Theatre in Virginia and co-conceived by David Loud and Eric Schaeffer, the production features music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and will be directed by Eric Schaeffer. Jon Kalbfleisch will conduct the 22-piece Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra. Press opening night is Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

The tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to Columbus, opening at the Ohio Theatre on Tuesday, April 17. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).
