Carrie St. Louis to Join Cast of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES as 'Sherrie,' 4/21

Producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated hit musical ROCK OF AGES are have announced that direct from the Las Vegas production Carrie St. Louis will make her Broadway debut in the lead role of Sherrie - the 'small town girl' who 'took the midnight train goin' anywhere' - on Monday, April 21, 2014. Carrie St. Louis originated the role of Sherrie in the Las Vegas production, which opened on January 5, 2013, for which she received The Broadway World Las Vegas Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

The five-time Tony Award Nominated musical ROCK OF AGES continues to celebrate its 5th Anniversary on Broadway, #RockofAge5, by bringing Broadway's Best Party back to NBC's TODAY SHOW on Thursday, March 20. The cast will help TODAY kick off spring in the plaza with a performance in the 8am hour and again in-studio with Kathie Lee & Hoda in the 10am hour. This is the first time the cast returns to perform on the plaza since their appearance 5 years ago on May 25, 2009.

Kicking off the party tonight, March 14 is social media rock star Randi Zuckerberg, who makes her Broadway debut as community leader 'Regina' (ruh-GINE-ah) for two weeks only - through March 28 (#RandiRocks). Producers of the five-time Tony Award-nominated hit musical ROCK OF AGES have announced that Aaron C. Finley will make his Broadway debut in the leading role of Drew beginning Friday, August 9, 2013 at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre (220 W 44thStreet). Justin Matthew Sargent, who has performed the role since March 2012, will play his final performance on Sunday, July 28 at 7:30pm. During the interim period, the role will be covered by Tony LePage.

Kristin Hanggi & ROCK OF AGES Creative Team Set for Relativity School Panel Today

Relativity School of Film, Media and Performing Arts will host a panel discussion with the creative team behind one of the longest running shows in Broadway history today, July 22nd from 3-5pm PST at LA Center Studios, 450 South Bixel St, LA, CA 90017. This will be the first time the creative team tells the amazing story of ROCK OF AGES at a live panel. The team will include: Chris D'Arienzo (writer), Kristin Hanggi (director), Matt Weaver (lead producer), Hillary Weaver (producer), Janet Billig Rich (producer and music supervisor), Dave Gibbs (orchestrations and arrangements), and Scott Prisand (producer).

The film adaptation of Broadway's ROCK OF AGES will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on October 9, 2012. The film, which had its theatrical release on June 15th, stars Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti and Diego Boneta.
