Auditions for New Line Theatre's production of the St. Louis premiere of the rock musical PASSING STRANGE, will be held on two successive Monday nights, June 13 and 20, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington University South Campus, 6501 Clayton Road (formerly CBC High School), just east of Big Bend, in the second floor theatre.

Shakespeare on the Sound, Connecticut's premier outdoor summer Shakespeare theater company, announces the Apprentice Company for its upcoming production of Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing, under the direction of Joanna Settle. This year's Apprentice Company of 16 is the largest group yet, chosen from over 120 applicants. The 2011 Apprentice Company includes Gabby Acquaviva (Darien, CT), Iman Al-Salihi (Kirkuk, Iraq), Scott Bartelson (Stratford, CT), Kiana Khozein (Westport, CT), Alexa LaVersa (Stamford, CT), Ali McGarey (Darien, CT), Marquerite McHale (Greenwich, CT), K.C. Morse (Stamford, CT), James O'Reilly (Redding, CT), Jacob Presson (Wilton, CT), Amy Rissolo (Darien, CT), Gus Ruchman (Cos Cob, CT), Jithendra Seneviratne (Colombo, Sri Lanka), Amanda Smith (Croton-on-Hudson, NY), Elena Stein (Rowayton, CT), and Emily Williams (Stamford, CT).

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, will conclude its 27th Season with the Tony Award-winning musical Passing Strange. Directed by Kate Warner, with music direction by Todd C. Gordon, and choreography by Kelli Edwards, Passing Strange begins performances on May 1 and runs through May 22, 2011.
