BrightSide Theatre, Naperville's only professional theatre performing in the historic downtown district, continues its sixth season - Classic Broadway. Moon Over Buffalo will perform at the Theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall at North Central College, 31 S. Ellsworth Street in Naperville March 10-26, 2017.

While the title MARK FELT, SUPERSTAR may receive befuddled reactions from those not fully familiar with American political scandals, you can't blame bookwriter/composer/lyricist Joshua Rosenblum for not naming his smart, breezy, informative and extremely enjoyable show 'Deep Throat, the musical.'

Convergence-continuum concludes its 2016 Season with the world premiere of Cleveland playwright Jonathan Wilhelm's noir comedy mystery thriller, THE KNIFE IS MONEY, THE FORK IS LOVE. It's 1932, and Tobias, a young man enamored with radio serials and pulp fiction, receives a puzzling package which leads him on a search for the members of a secret society. In the theater, meanwhile, a group of actors struggle to provide historical context and work with the audience to solve Tobias' Depression-era enigma. Confusion, and much comedy, ensues as both the characters and actors try to untangle this mysterious and thrilling tale for us.

HB Studio, one of New York's most venerable institutions for theater training and practice, is shaking things up this year for their annual benefit. This year HB Studio is bringing attention back to its roots, and back to the process of making great theater. Instead of one big benefit bash honoring esteemed alumni and colleagues (such as Fritz Weaver, Austin Pendleton, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, Eric Bentley and David Hyde Pierce, Amanda Peet and Lee Grant, Tony Walton and Katie Finneran, Alfred Molina), HB will be hosting a series of intimate benefit performances featuring notable HB alumni and friends, exclusively produced in the HB Playwrights Theater. Houston's historic Lancaster Hotel will celebrate its 90th anniversary at the Houston Symphony Friday, November 11 with a pre-concert reception that includes an appearance by Houston Symphony Pops conductor Michael Krajewski, birthday cake and a nod to the evening's performance of George Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue' at Jones Hall for the Performing Arts.

The National Theatre of the Deaf has launched their Fall Touring Season with a varied and comprehensive bill featuring: Two by Twain -Experience of the McWilliamses directed by Guest Artist Joey Caverly and Mrs. McWilliams and the Lightning directed by Guest Artist William C. Martin. These two comic gems are ushered onstage by a curtain warmer of American Poets all presented in the unique theatrical style created by NTD. The talented company is comprised of:

ONSTAGE in Bedford Artistic Director Michael B. Winters announced tonight via Facebook the theater's 32nd season, which will be performed at the Trinity Arts Theater in the historic Bedford Boys Ranch. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) announced today that tickets for the 2016/17 Broadway, Theatre Company, Cabaret and Off-Center shows as well as all Fall/Winter Education classes will be available to the general public Monday, August 15 at 10 a.m.
