?The Blue Horse Repertory Company present an evening of comedic readings of one-act plays and monologues for women called "Leading Ladies" at the Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill. The show is directed by Flo Hayle and features Elizabeth Breslin, Lora Lee Ecobelli, Sarah Jane Fawcett, Flo Hayle. Gayle Hudson, Nancy Rothman, and Doris Seipel performing works by Christopher Durang, Jane Martin, and Charles George.

Tony Award Winning Actress Laura Benanti, who is currently starring in the Broadway hit musical She Loves Me, will be honored by the Music Conservatory of Westchester with its Achievement in the Arts Award at their 15th Annual Golf & Tennis Classic celebratory dinner on June 20 at Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase. "Laura is Broadway royalty," said Jon Chattman, a spokesperson for the not-for-profit music school in White Plains, NY. "So many institutions honor stars when they're well into their 80s. Not us. We're honoring the Tony Award winner for all of her stellar work thus far and all that's sure to come."

The West End revival of Gypsy starring Imelda Staunton, which just took home four Olivier Awards on Sunday night, is still eying a Broadway run. According to the Wall Street Journal, a spokesperson for producers Michael Harrison and David Ian revealed that talks for a Broadway transfer are underway.

Jonathan Kent's triumphant revival of GYPSY, starring Imelda Staunton as an indelible Momma Rose, leads the way at this Sunday's Olivier Awards with eight nominations. Staunton is hot favourite to pick up Best Actress in a Musical for her lauded performance, which fuelled hit runs at Chichester Festival Theatre and London's Savoy, as well as a BBC broadcast.
