After a long absence from the music scene, Missing Persons featuring original vocalist Dale Bozzio will return to the Southern California stage for two special concerts at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach on January 10 and at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano on January 19. Such memorable hits as "Words," "Destination Unknown," and "Walking In L.A." made Missing Persons a household name in the '80s and a staple of early MTV thanks in part to the cutting edge fashion statements of Bozzio. Relativity School of Film, Media and Performing Arts will host a panel discussion with the creative team behind one of the longest running shows in Broadway history today, July 22nd from 3-5pm PST at LA Center Studios, 450 South Bixel St, LA, CA 90017. This will be the first time the creative team tells the amazing story of ROCK OF AGES at a live panel. The team will include: Chris D'Arienzo (writer), Kristin Hanggi (director), Matt Weaver (lead producer), Hillary Weaver (producer), Janet Billig Rich (producer and music supervisor), Dave Gibbs (orchestrations and arrangements), and Scott Prisand (producer).

Casting for Musical Theatre West's (MTW) production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's international hit musical Sunset Boulevard , has been announced by MTW Executive Director/Producer Paul Garman and Director Larry Raben. The 1950 Oscar-winning motion picture of the same title first starred screen legends Gloria Swanson (as Norma Desmond) and William Holden (as Joe Gillis) before it opened as a musical in London's West End starring Patti LuPone and Kevin Anderson at the Adelphi Theatre July 12, 1993 where it ultimately ran for 1529 performances.
