Back by popular demand, Jeff Daniels will return to the stage of The Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC) to perform Onstage & Unplugged Today, December 26 through Thursday, December 31, 2015.

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will ring in the new year with the second play of its 25th anniversary season, Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple.".

Back by popular demand, Jeff Daniels will return to the stage of The Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC) to perform Onstage & Unplugged Saturday, December 26 through Thursday, December 31, 2015.

Since its founding 25 years ago by actor/playwright and Chelsea native, Jeff Daniels, the Purple Rose Theatre Company (PRTC) has been 'the beacon of American Theatre,' championing new American plays and playwrights and offering a unique apprentice program that is training the next generation of arts leaders. Tonight, October 26, Detroit Public Television (DPTV) will air a special one-hour long documentary, PURPLE ROSE 25 YEARS, celebrating the rich history and contributions the PRTC has made since it was established in 1991.

Purple Rose 25 Years, a documentary commemorating the 25th anniversary of Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre Company, will premiere on Detroit Public Television at 7:30 pm Monday, October 26. It will be rebroadcast in other PBS markets throughout 2016.

The Purple Rose Theatre Company is proud to announce its 25th Anniversary Documentary, Purple Rose 25 Years, coming to your local Detroit Public Television (PBS) station on October 26, 2015 at 7:30pm as well as a 25th Anniversary commemorative coffee table book, The Purple Rose of Chelsea by Cynthia Furlong Reynolds, set to hit local bookstores and Amazon.com this holiday season!

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will kick off its 25th Anniversary season with the world-premiere comedy, Casting Session, by theatre Founder Jeff Daniels!

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will present Jeff Daniels' Onstage & Unplugged for a limited eight-show engagement from tonight, July 28 through Sunday, August 2, 2015. This glorious week of Jeff Daniels' Onstage & Unplugged performances will conclude with the 4th annual Purple Rose Backyard BBQ fundraiser on Sunday, August 2nd at the beautiful Zingerman's Cornman Farms in Dexter, MI. Guests will enjoy cocktails and BBQ, live/silent auctions, live music by The Ben Daniels Band during the day, and Jeff Daniels' Onstage & Unplugged with dessert reception at 8pm.
