Meg Ryan to Narrate CBS' HOW I MET YOUR DAD

According to Deadline, Meg Ryan has been tapped to voice the older version of Greta Gerwig's Sally in CBS' How I Met Your Mother spin-off, HOW I MET YOUR DAD. Saget provided the 'aged' voice of Josh Radnor in the original series, which just wrapped its nine-season run on the network.

MCC THEATER will present Greta Gerwig, Max Baker, Jason Butler Harner, Lucy Owen, Cara Seymour, and Scott Shepherd in the American premiere of Penelope Skinner's celebrated play The Village Bike, the final production of MCC's 2013-14 Main Stage season. The Village Bike, directed bySam Gold, who recently directed the much-raved new musical Fun Home and this season's The Realistic Jones on Broadway, will premiere at The Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) beginning May 22, 2014 with an official opening on June 10, 2014. MCC THEATER has announced its four-show 2014-15 Main Stage Season, which runs Fall 2014 through Summer 2015. All productions will be staged at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). This announcement comes on the heels of one of MCC's most acclaimed seasons yet, which began in Fall 2013 with the New York premiere of John Pollono's Small Engine Repair and continued with the Off-Broadway premiere of Robert Askins' Hand to God. The final production of MCC's 2013-14 Season, Penelope Skinner's The Village Bike starring Greta Gerwig and directed by Sam Gold, has its North American debut beginning May 22, 2014. The music of the late composer Dory Previn was celebrated at a gala for the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre last night. Best-known as the writer of such hit songs as 'Theme from Valley of the Dolls,' 'Mary C. Brown and the Hollywood Sign,' 'With My Daddy in the Attic,' 'You're Gonna Hear from Me,' DORY PREVIN was a legendary figure as a pop-folk singer-song-writer in the 60's-70's and 80's. The Gala performance was directed by Rachel Chavkin (NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812), with musical direction by Jon Spurney. Eliza Dushku, who also starred in Joss Whedon's short-lived series DOLLHOUSE, announced on Twitter today that she's currently reading the script for the HIMYM spin-off pilot from Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Emily Spivey (Up All Night). Greta Gerwig has already signed on to play the project's lead, 'Sally,' described as a 'female Peter Pan who has never grown up and has no idea of where she's going in life.' She's thinking of calling it quits with her husband of a year, Gavin. She'll lean on her circle of friends for advice and support through the inevitable divorce.'
