The villains of Broadway are back to cure your wintry woes - with cobwebs, hexes, and a bevy of songs in minor keys.

AFTER ORLANDO, directed by Wendy C. Goldberg, is an international theater action comprised of more than 70 short plays written in response to the tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016.

Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, will present The Last Song of Eddie Scourge, a new musical by Eli Bolin (Found, Skippyjon Jones) and Mike Pettry (The Light Princess, The Time Travelers Convention), featuring Greg Hildreth (The Robber Bridegroom, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers: The Musical, Found), Max Crumm (Disaster!, Grease), and more on November 30th, 2016 at 9:30pm.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, a non-profit artist residency program located an hour north of New York City, hosted their first annual Farm in the City gala on October 24, 2016. The Old Globe presents the final offering in the 2016 Summer Shakespeare Festival: William Shakespeare's unabashed celebration of innocence, idealism, and the sweet folly of young love, Love's Labor's Lost, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. This delightful romantic comedy will run now through September 18, 2016, in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Opening night is Saturday, August 20. The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the final offering in the 2016 Summer Shakespeare Festival: William Shakespeare's unabashed celebration of innocence, idealism, and the sweet folly of young love, Love's Labor's Lost, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. This delightful romantic comedy will run August 14 - September 18, 2016, in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Previews run August 14 - 19. As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Rob Ashford just directed a private industry reading of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with an all-star cast, including Broadway favorite Kristen Chenoweth. Now according to her recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the show might go on to have a life on Broadway. She explains: 'I think there is financing in place and I think it has to be a decision we can make and I have another show that I'm involved with about Tammy Faye Bakker. It's all about timing.'

BroadwayWorld has just learned that there will be a private industry reading today, June 29, of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, with direction by Rob Ashford.
