The splash-hit West End stage production SINGIN' IN THE RAIN is currently playing at Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre with only 10 days to go before transferring to the Sydney Lyric on July 7th.

The 51st annual Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards has announced its 2015 nominees, reflecting a rich realm of theatre talent seen on stages throughout the Western Cape. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN splashes its way onto the Teatro at Montecasino stage next week. The show made a big splash the moment it premiered in the UK and has recently toured internationally with a stellar South African cast playing to sold out houses around the world.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN did not delve into such stunt casting from the onset - unless you consider Tommy Steele, who originated the role of Don Lockwood in the West End, as big as Elvis Presley or Gene Kelly, the silver screen's original Lockwood.
