The Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP) honored Gloria Steinem, the world renowned feminist activist, writer, lecturer and founder of Ms. Magazine and New York Magazine, at a Sold Out fundraising event for WRRAP, entitled "An Evening With Gloria Steinem," held on Tuesday evening, March 16, 2010 at the home of Eric Shore and Fred Paul in Beverly Hills, CA.

GLORIA STEINEM, World Renowned Feminist Activist, Writer, Lecturer and Founder of Ms. and New York Magazines, will be honored for her activism and will appear as the Guest Speaker at a fundraiser entitled, 'An Evening With Gloria Steinem,' benefiting The Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP) to be held at a private home in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Applause Theatre & Cinema Books is excited to invite you to a free book event on March 15th at 7 PM at Bluestockings Books. Author Jan Balakian will read from her new book, 'Reading the Plays of Wendy Wasserstein,' and will be happy to sign copies afterward. Books will be on sale at the event.

Laurie Anderson, Joan Osborne and Suzanne Vega will unite to perform a one-night-only benefit concert for the Women's Project, the 32-year-old theater company dedicated to producing the work of female theater artists, on International Women's Day, Monday, March 8, at 6:30pm at the Women's Project's home, the 199-seat Julia Miles Theater, 424West 55th Street.
