Sexual abuse of Jewish women was not part of German genocidal policy, but nevertheless occurred. A new book, Sexual Violence Against Jewish Women during the Holocaust, documents the sexual violence against Jewish and other women that has been relegated to the fringes of Holocaust history or even denied.

Acclaimed character actress, comic, and YouTube sensation Nadya Ginsburg will present the New York premiere of her solo comedy MADONNALOGUES.

Bonnie Pfeifer Evans, fashion model, philanthropist and real estate investor; Mindy Grossman, Chief Executive Officer of HSN, Inc (Home Shopping Network); and Bebe Neuwirth, two-time Tony Award-winner currently starring on Broadway in Addams Family are Women's Project's 2011 Women of Achievement who will be inducted at the 26th Annual Gala Celebration hosted by the Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning Kathleen Turner at ESPACE, 635 West 42nd Street, on Monday, March 7, at 6:30pm.

During March and April the Brooklyn Museum will present an array of public programs for adults including a panel discussion moderated by Gloria Steinem, a screening of the film Reel Injun, performances by jazz violinist Regina Carter and the Orchestra of St Luke's, a quilt-making workshop, and a new series of engaging adult programs that take place every Thursday evening.

Accompanying the gallery exhibition of the same name, this series explores the influence of music on contemporary art practices, focusing on New York in the 1980s and 1990s and the birth of 'remix culture.' These films and videos examine the birth of hip-hop; new articulations of feminism; AIDS activism; the artistic development of music videos; and the rise of the digital domain.
