Irish Arts Center will welcome back Bessie Award-nominated Darrah Carr Dance in Celtic Jazz Tryst, November 18-20.

Critically-acclaimed Holiday dance favorites, Peter DiMuro / Public Displays of Motion's Gumdrops & The Funny Uncle and David Parker and The Bang Group's Nut/Cracked perform in repertory December 14 - 18, 2016 at the Boston Center for the Arts Black Box, 527 Tremont Street, Boston's South End. A near sold-out audience rose as one following the BODYTRAFFIC dance concert at the Ohio Theatre. They had witnessed a variety of creative, well-executed, serendipitous dance numbers.

On Tuesday, November 22 the AZ Swing Kings bring you The Great American Songbook and All That Jazz! The AZ Swing Kings Orchestra is a Valley favorite and consists of 18 instrumentalists and a vocalist. The orchestra is under the direction of Lenny King - former creator and director of the Chicago Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra - and all the musicians are experienced professional performers playing original arrangements made famous by the such great bands as: Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington, Maynard Ferguson and many others. The featured vocalist is Joni King.

The world famous, Glenn Miller Orchestra, is the most popular and sought after 'Big Band' in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements. With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra plays at the FSCJ Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts on Florida State College at Jacksonville's South Campus (11901 Beach Blvd.) on Thursday, January 12 at 7:30 p.m. for one performance only.

Kevin Black's recent hit production, The Soul of Motor City, had audiences on their feet and dancing in the aisles.  The show received a Carbonell recommendation, and was extended numerous times past its originally scheduled closing date.  It's no wonder then, that Stage Door Theatre's Executive Producer Derelle Bunn has asked Black to develop another brand new show for her ever-popular theatre.

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera opens the Luken Holdings Pops Series with the Mambo Kings on Saturday, October 8th at 7:30pm at the Tivoli Theatre.
