TheatreSquared (T2) Artistic Director Robert Ford and the T2 Board of Directors announced today the hiring of a new managing director, Martin Miller, to co-lead the professional theatre company. A Fayetteville native, Mr. Miller has most recently served as Associate Producer for the 2008 Regional Tony Award winner Chicago Shakespeare Theater. After six years away, Mr. Miller is returning to Northwest Arkansas and will begin work immediately.

Parison, Jr., announced today that Glynis Bell will star in the acclaimed Off-Broadway hit play Underneath the Lintel by Glen Berger. Lintel will run from July 8 through 26, 2009 at BSC?s Stage 2, 36 Linden Street, Pittsfield, MA. Directed by Andrew Volkoff, Underneath the Lintel will have its press opening on Sunday, July 12 at 7:30pm.

Upcoming Broadway musical 'SPIDER-MAN, Turn Off the Dark' has begin a 'pre-pre-sale' for tickets. The show has announced that pre-sale code 'SPIDEY' can be used at Ticketmaster ahead of the American Express pre-sale, which begins June 24. While the code allows you to purchase tickets prior to the pre-sale, you must still purchase the tickets with an AmEx card. Tickets may be purchased with the code through June 23.

Tony Winner Cumming To Star In New Film 'Escape To Donegal'

Tony Award Winner Alan Cumming has been cast as the villian in 'Escape To Donegal'. The film is written by Chris Minori and will be directed by Jonathan Blitstein.
According to comingsoon.net, the sci-fi psychological thriller is reportedly a stylized film set in a dystopian future. Cumming will play a villian named 'Stuart', but no other information is available at this time. Filming will take place in Brooklyn this fall.

Industry circles have buzzed that actress Evan Rachel Wood has been set for the role of 'Mary Jane' in the upcoming 'SPIDER-MAN:Turn Off The Dark' musical, but the young actress and star of the new Woody Allen release, 'Whatever Works' and the recent Oscar nominated The Wrestler revealed to MTV News that all is not set in 'comic book' stone.
