Today the New London Theatre was renamed in honour of the trailblazing choreographer Dame Gillian Lynne. It is the first West End theatre to be named after a woman. View photos from the renaming below!

The stage is being set for the Jellicle Ball! According to The Stage,  the Royal Ballet's resident choreographer, Wayne McGregor, has signed on to choreograph Tom Hooper's big screen adaptation of Cats. Filming is set to begin in London this November. Casting is now underway.

The full cast is announced for the West End premiere of Broken Wings, a major new musical, an autobiographical tale of tragic love based on Lebanese-born poet Kahlil Gibran's 1912 masterpiece.

The 2018-2019 season includes six Broadway shows, headlined by the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Blockbuster Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. This afternoon composer Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group production company and Shanghai Media Group Live announced a new partnership titled the 'Phantom China Project'.

Broadway Sacramento announced the 2018 - 19 Broadway On Tour season at the Community Center Theater, sponsored by Wells Fargo, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series and three that are favorites of Broadway Sacramento audiences. The season features Sacramento premieres of On Your Feet!, Waitress, Aladdin, and The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.
