Syfy's 2014 Fall Programming primetime lineup will feature the highly anticipated six hour event series Ascension, starring Tricia Helfer (November 24); the series premieres of Z Nation (September 12) and the docuseries Town of the Living Dead (October 7); the season five return of Haven (September 11) and the special 10th anniversary season of Ghost Hunters (October 8).
Seth Green Joins Cast of Mini-Series DELETE

Deadline.com reports that Seth Green has joined the cast of director Steve Barron's DELETE. Filming is currently underway in Vancouver for the mini-series which co-stars Keir Gilchrist, Matt Frewer, Janet Kidder, Erin Karpluk, Gil Bellows and Ryan Robbins.

Principal photography has begun on three new epic four-hour mini-series events for television. The three, RING OF FIRE, Eve of Destruction and Delete, have all begun production in Vancouver. Ring of Fire and Eve of Destruction are from Reunion Pictures.

Hunger Game's star Jennifer Lawrence is already at work on her next film, HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET, opening in theaters on September 21, 2012. The horror film is directed Mark Tonderai and also stars Elisabeth Shue, Max Thieriot, Gil Bellows, James Thomas, Nolan Gerard Funk, Jon McLaren, Jordan Hayes, Jonathan Malen, Will Bowes and Allie MacDonald.

The 2012 Genie Awards were handed out last Thursday in Toronto, celebrating the best in Canadian film and television. Many stars were on hand, including Viggo Mortensen (showing some major support for the Montreal Canadiens) and Jason Priestly. Hosted by George Strombolopolous, the night was filled with fun and recognition for the great work Canadians are doing in film. BWW was thrilled to be on hand to capture photos of the event.
