USA Network will premiere two original series on Friday, March 16 with the sophomore season premiere of FAIRLY LEGAL at 9/8c followed by the final season premiere of IN PLAIN SIGHT at 10/9c.

TNT has ordered a pilot for Chelsea General (working title), a new medical drama series from award-winning producer David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, Chicago Hope) and practicing neurosurgeon and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, M.D. Kelley and Dr. Gupta will executive-produce. Kelley wrote the pilot script for the series, which is based on Gupta's upcoming novel Monday Mornings.

According to Deadline.com, actress Kerry Washington is set to star in Quentin Tarantino's DJANGO UNCHAINED.

RED TAILS is coming to theaters on January 20, 2011 from 20th Century Fox. The action, adventure film is directed by Anthony Hemingway and stars Bryan Cranston, David Oyelowo, Cuba Gooding Jnr, Daniella Ruah, Terrence Howard, Nate Parker, Tristian Wilds, Ryan Early, Method Man and Gerald McRaney.

NBC has issued its first scripted series pickup for the 2010-11 season with the order of the drama 'Undercovers' from acclaimed writer/producer/director J.J. That cultish assemblage that likes to recite my reviews from memory on open mic nights at the Nuyorican Poets Café (it's weird being an icon for the culturally disenfranchised) may notice many similarities between my following scribblings on Lincoln Center Theater's Broadway production of Horton Foote's Dividing The Estate and my review of this mounting's original Off-Broadway run last season at Primary Stages. But if director Michael Wilson can do a cut and paste job, with minor adjustments here and there, there's no reason I can't do the same.
