UNIX Gallery presents EDEN: Pianeti Lontani. Paradisi E Terre Vulcaniche. (Eden: Distant Planets. The Heavens and Volcanic Earth), an exhibition of paintings by a renowned Italian artist Marcello Lo Giudice. On view May 12 – June 20, 2015, the exhibition features twelve new, previously unseen paintings that explore the theme of the beauty of our planet and the importance of its conservation for generations to come. The opening reception with the artist will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, 6 – 8 PM. UNIX Gallery is located 532 W 24th Street.

New Brunswick, NJ – There's a new presence on the College Avenue Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick: Walking Man, a permanent outdoor installation by internationally renowned sculptor – and longtime South Brunswick, New Jersey, resident – George Segal. You can find the single bronze figure in stride at the refurbished northwest corner of George and Hamilton Streets, where it appears headed toward the museum's entrance.

Following the success of the previous two festivals, the 3rd Annual New York Hot Jazz Festival -- produced by the impresario Michael 'Misha' Katsobashvili, performer Bria Skonberg, and composer/producer Patrick Soluri (of Prohibition Productions and The Salon) -- returns to The Players this year and promises some of the biggest stars of the Hot Jazz and swing scenes in a summit of uptown and downtown talent spanning three generations.

The Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers offers “More in March” with a dynamic schedule of programs and new exhibitions. In addition to the regular schedule of events during Art After Hours: First Tuesdays, the evening includes a special presentation of the talk “Vision Research: Interactions between Scientists and Artists.” For music lovers, the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra salon series and Music at the Museum invite audiences to explore music in new ways. For younger artists, Passport to Art and Drawing Club offer opportunities to get creative. Activities take place at the Zimmerli, located at 71 Hamilton Street in New Brunswick, on the Rutgers University College Avenue campus. Admission to the museum and public programs is free.
