Jazz and Memphis' legacy of world-renowned African-American jazz artists will be celebrated Friday, June 21, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Historic Daisy Theater on Beale Street.

Conductor Albert-George Schram and the Columbus Symphony will present trumpeter Chris Botti, touring in support of his newest release, Impressions, winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album. Botti's stellar parade of releases-starting with 2004's When I Fall In Love and continuing with To Love Again, Italia, and the CD/DVD Chris Botti In Boston-have firmly established him as the world's largest selling jazz instrumentalist with several Grammy nominations and three #1 albums on Billboard's Jazz Albums listings.

Following the likes of MADE IN JERSEY, freshman series ANIMAL PRACTICE has been yanked from the air by NBC. ANIMAL PRACTICE will air its last episode on Nov. 14.

On this week's episode of the new NBC comedy ANIMAL PRACTICE titled, 'WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINA COLEMAN?' when George's (Justin Kirk) overbearing mother Virginia (guest star Annie Potts, ?GCB?) shows up at the hospital with her sick cat, named 'cat,' George must heal the cat or risk the alternative ? having to keep her company to fill the void.
