The Sheldon presents the Red Clay Ramblers, Friday, May 6, 2011 at 8 p.m. in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. Now in their 38th year, the Tony Award-winning Red Clay Ramblers are a North Carolina string band whose repertoire reflects their roots in old-time mountain music, as well as bluegrass, country, rock, New Orleans jazz, gospel and the American musical.

Garrison Keillor was born in 1942 in Anoka, Minnesota, and began his radio career as a freshman at the University of Minnesota, from which he graduated in 1966.

Rex Reed in 'The New York Observer' states KT Sullivan is in 'a league of her own,' and Stephen Holden in 'The New York Times' claims that watching her is 'a thrill ride.'

Acclaimed singer, Broadway star and cabaret favorite KT Sullivan returns to perform at Bob Egan's New Hope on Saturday, April 2, with her new show, 'Colored Lights.' Sullivan will present one show at 8:30 pm.

Times Square's landmark concert venue, will present one of America's classic singer-songwriters, DON McLEAN on Friday, March 25th at 8PM. McLean is forever associated with his classic hits 'American Pie' and 'Vincent (Starry Starry Night)'. Since first hitting the charts in 1971, he has amassed over 40 gold and platinum records world-wide and, in 2004, was inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame.

The historic building, will celebrate 90 years of politically informative, musically innovative and electrifying cultural history. The concert pays tribute to the rich cultural history of The Town Hall from 1921 to the present day, starring Tony® Award winner JASON ROBERT BROWN, Tony® Award nominee LIZ CALLAWAY, Tony® Award nominee and Drama Desk, Theatre world and Emmy® Award winner TOVAH FELDSHUH, legendary Jazz guitarist BUCKY PIZZARELLI, Tony® Award nominee EMILY SKINNER and more, to be announced. Scott Siegel has written and will host the concert. Siegel is also the creator/writer and host of The Town Hall's acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series. All proceeds will benefit The Town Hall's Educational Outreach program.

Produced by The Town Hall, The Broadway Musicals of 1932 was created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel. Siegel took the audience on a musical travelogue, exploring the history of the Great White Way and providing social anecdotes while showcasing the beloved hits and lesser-known gems from the golden age of Broadway. The show was directed by Scott Coulter and choreographed by Jeffry Denman, who both performed in the show as well. Ross Patterson was the musical director. TimeLine Theatre Company, dedicated to presenting plays inspired by history that connect to today's social and political issues, has finalized its four-play 2010-11 season. The Chicago premiere of In Darfur by Winter Miller, directed by Nick Bowling, joins three previously released titles: The Chicago premiere of Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, the world premiere of Mastering the Art by William Brown and Doug Frew, and The Front Page by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur.

I Was Drunk That Day is an exploratory (staged) reading of several early crime and suspense stories by Anton Chekhov including 'Conversation of a Drunken Man with a Sober Devil', 'Evildoer', and 'The Wallet'. Assembled, adapted and directed by Darrell Larson, most of the featured stories translated into English for the first time - just last year.
