A Fevered Sleep/Young Vic production, DUSK, produced in association with Fuel and commissioned by Pontio, Bangor and supported by Stratford Circus will play The Maria at the Young Vic as part of a national tour. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will host 22 theatrical offerings from 20 different countries during WORLD STAGES: International Theater Festival 2014 that will run for three weeks March 10-30, 2014 throughout the Center. The international festival features contemporary theater works offering 13 fully staged productions, 4 theater-focused installations, 3 readings of new works, and 2 forums. From Olivier and Tony Award-winning puppetry to innovative perspectives on old classics, a diverse showcase of theatrical expression will be represented by countries spanning the globe including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, England, France, Iceland, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Pakistan, Palestine, Scotland, South Africa, Sudan, Syria, and the United States.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today that their highly anticipated production of the National Theatre of Scotland's internationally acclaimed production of Black Watch has extended its run at The Drill Court at the Armory Community Center (333 14th Street, between Mission and Valencia) through Sunday, June 16. CTC has accepted an invitation to bring their acclaimed production of Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat to the Manitoba Theatre for Young People in Winnipeg (Canada) tonight, December 7-21, 2012 immediately following its run here in the Twin Cities.
