Off-Broadway's The Play Company brings together some of NYC's top chefs and theater artists for its sixth annual gala CABARET GOURMET 2009 -- a unique evening hosted by Broadway's Richard Kind (THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE and THE PRODUCERS) and featuring musical entertainment by cabaret legend Karen Akers (NINE and GRAND HOTEL), along with savory and sweet dishes prepared by chefs from several of the city's most celebrated restaurants -- on Monday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at the American Airlines Theatre Penthouse (227 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) in association with Glucksman Ireland House, The American Irish Historical Society, and The WB Yeats Society of New York will begin previews of The Yeats Project on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. The production will open on Wednesday, April 15. Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciar?n O'Reilly, Producing Director will direct.

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will present the Chicago premiere of Gary Bairos?Jimmy Gamble at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan. It will open Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 10:30 p.m. and run April 3, 4, 9, & 10 at 10:30 p.m. with a special 7 p.m. performance on Sunday April 5. Tickets are $15 for all performances. The Tenth Annual Cabaret Night gala to benefit Hershey Area Playhouse will feature Hershey natives and Broadway performers Jane Brockman and David Michael Felty, along with his wife, professional entertainer Jennifer Felty. Circle in the Square Theatre (Theodore Mann, Artistic Director and Paul Libin, Managing Director) has joined Culture Project as producer of the upcoming New York production of The Atheist, presented by Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Artistic Director). The dark comedy, written by Ronan Noone, directed by Justin Waldman and starring Campbell Scott as 'Augustine Early,' began performances at Culture Project's temporary new home, Barrow Street Theatre, on Tuesday, October 7th and has an official opening night Sunday, October 12.

9 to 5: The Musical opened on September 20th 2008 at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre. Performances will continue through October 19, 2008.
