GINGER ROGERS, the Academy Award winning screen legend from the films 42nd Street, Top Hat, The Gay Divorcee and dozens more, would have been 100 this year. She will be celebrated with a live performance and an exhibition of her archive and memorabilia created in celebration of her life and career as one of America's most luminescent and talented motion picture actresses. The special exhibition opens at Boston's Mugar Library Building on Monday, October 24. Hosted by Nick Clooney, the event will feature an appearance by special guest Angela Lansbury. The live performances will debut at the Tsai Performance Center (October 24) in Boston and the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline (October 25).

Bonnie and Clyde, the Musical will open on Broadway December 1, 2011. In the weeks before the opening I will be rebroadcasting interviews I did with the stars and the creative team when they worked on the show at the Asolo Theater in Sarasota FL., and adding new interviews.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that the big, unnamed Broadway star is none other than Tony-winner and BroadwayWorld fave Kristin Chenoweth. 42nd Street Moon presents the American premiere of a full production of THREE SISTERS, with music by Jerome Kern, and book/lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. San Francisco audiences first enjoyed this little-known Kern and Hammerstein musical when 42nd Street Moon's Lost Musical Series presented the American premiere in 1995, in a concert format. With the help of a recent National Endowment for the Arts Grant, the company is now able to mount the first full production ever seen in the United States. Low-priced previews begin November 30, and the show opens on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 pm at the Eureka Theatre. It runs through December 18.

According to Zap2it.com, Broadway favorite Aaron Tveit will soon return to the CW's 'Gossip Girl' as Trip van der Bilt. Tveit, who last appeared on the series in season 3, has signed on for a multi-episode arc.
