The new musical BONNIE AND CLYDE will host an industry-only invite presentation taking place on June 9th and 10th.

The music from Frank Wilhorn's DRACULA will finally be available to theatre fans everywhere, as GlobalVision Records has just released the Studio Cast Recording of the show. Featuring the talents of Broadway favorites Kate Shindle, Lauren Kennedy, James Barbour, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton, and Rob Evan, the new album is available now on iTunes, and will be available on Amazon.com later this week

Broadway's WONDERLAND played its final performance this Sunday, May 15 at 3pm at the Marquis Theatre in front of a packed house including many Broadway notables. The show played 31 previews and 33 regular performances. WONDERLAND began previews Monday, March 21 and opened Sunday, April 17. The production will play a National tour. The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street), Times Square's landmark concert venue, welcomed Linda Eder for 'An Evening with Linda Eder' on Friday, May 20th at 8:00pm. Considered one of the greatest contemporary voices of our time, she won the Drama Desk award for her leading role as Lucy Harris in 'Jekyll & Hyde.'

Like Rodney Dangerfield before him, Frank Wildhorn gets no respect in musical theater circles. Despite the relative success of his first widely known work for musical theater - Jekyll and Hyde, a popular if not exactly critical success - Wildhorn's subsequent musicals have been met with lukewarm praise, at best, including his just-closed Wonderland, which got some of the season's most scathing reviews on Broadway. The Roxy Regional Theatre, never a company to let reviews influence their show selection, brings Wildhorn's Tony Award-nominated The Civil War to the stage in Clarksville, in a largely successful and watchable production featuring a young, committed and capable cast.

Writer Damon Runyon invented Broadway - and Broadway invented the American Musical! Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will open its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with the classic American musical, Guys and Dolls based on Runyon's comic tales of Broadway running June 2-12 in the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre (Lower Jorgensen).

Broadway and pop star Linda Eder promoted her new CD 'Now' at Barnes and Noble yesterday, May 18th. The album promotion preceedes her Town Hall engagement, An Evening with Linda Eder on Friday, May 20th at 8:00pm.
