Jennifer Lee Crowl doesn't have the dual persona of the lead character in the Broadway musical 'Jekyll & Hyde,' which opens the 2011-2012 season at Sturges Center for the Fine Arts.

This November Minnetonka High School will continue to take theatre to new heights with Dracula - The Musical, their follow up to last year's sold out Minnesota premiere production of The Phantom of the Opera. This thrilling musical romance will run on the Arts Center on 7 Main Stage from November 4-19.

Good and evil, and the consequences of examining man's darker side too closely, is at the heart of the musical 'Jekyll & Hyde,' which opens the 2011-2012 season at the Sturges Center for the Fine Arts.

Broadway's Morgan James, currently in rehearsals for the upcoming Broadway revival of Godspell (in which she'll sing the popular 'Turn Back, O Man') will be performing live with her band at NYC's Rockwood Music Hall (196 Allen Street) on Wednesday, September 28 at 11pm. The concert is FREE with NO COVER CHARGE.

Ms. Burns and Ms. Schwartz come to Broadway directly from Wicked's First National Tour. The Broadway company currently features Richard H. Blake as Fiyero, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, Tom McGowan as The Wizard, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Cristy Candler as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond.

From Gerard Alessandrini, the creator of the Tony-Award-Winning Forbidden Broadway, and Robert Hetzel, comes an over-the-top new musical: Madame X, a melodramatic yet comic take on the Douglas Sirk films of the 1950s, and the ever-durable genre of the altruistic, self-sacrificing mother. The show, which will be presented concert-style, stars Forbidden Broadway veterans Donna English as Madame X (Ruthless!, Lend Me a Tenor) Janet Dickenson (The Grinch, Nine to Five) Edward Staudenmayer (Frank Wildhorn's Alice in Wonderland, Spamalot), Michael West (Newsical), plus Bill Coyne, Sean Bell, and Mike Longo with Musical Direction by David Caldwell and Richard Danley.

David West in Association with John Freedson will present MADAME X with book, music and lyrics Geard Alessandrini & Robert Hetzel and directed by Mr. Alessandrini at the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

CPCC Theatre will kickoff its 2011-2012 season with Frank Wildhorn's 'The Civil War' in September, commemorating the 150th anniversary of this national conflict that defined America, and announce that it will be hosting Thursday night talkback sessions after the performances with the show's cast and noted experts on the play's subject matter.

Previously announced stars Laura Osnes (2011 Drama Desk nominee, Anything Goes) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, West Side Story) will be joined on stage by Melissa van der Schyff (Big River) as Blanche Barrow, Claybourne Elder (Road Show) as Buck Barrow, Joe Hart (The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public) as Sheriff Schmid and Louis Hobson (Next to Normal) as Ted Hinton.
