4TH WALL THEATRE will host an end of season fundraiser entitled 'A JERSEY VOICE: Sinatra to Springsteen...and Everyone in Between" featuring John Michael Coppola, a former Bloomfield resident. The concert will be held on Monday, July 16 at 7:30 pm, at the Westminster Arts Center on the campus of Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ. The concert is the final fundraising event of 4th Wall's 15th anniversary season.

The 2012 Hollywood Bowl July 4th Fireworks Spectacular features American pop icon Barry Manilow, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by conductor Sarah Hicks. For three nights, Monday - Wednesday, July 2 - 4, at 7:30 PM, this Independence Day celebration begins with the Los Angeles Philharmonic led by conductor Sarah Hicks treating the audience to patriotic favorites. For the second half, Barry Manilow - the top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time - will perform an array of his hit songs including "Mandy," "I Write the Songs," "Looks Like We Made It," "Can't Smile Without You," and the Grammy-winning "Copacabana (At the Copa)." The evening ends with what is widely regarded as one of the region's top July 4th pyrotechnic displays.

Today in 1976, the second Broadway revival of Pal Joey opened at the Circle in the SquareTheatre, where it ran for 73 performances. Pal Joey is a musical with a book by John O'Hara (from his novel of the same title) and music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart based on a character and situations O'Hara created in a series of short stories published in The New Yorker. The original 1940 Broadway production was directed by George Abbott and starred Gene Kelly. There have been several revivals since, including a 2008-09 Broadway run, and a 1957 film adaptation starring Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth and Kim Novak. The 1976 cast featured: Christopher Chadman (Joey), Harold Gary (Mike), Terri Treas (Kid), Janie Sell (Gladys), and Gail Benedict (Gail).

Premiere Props announced that they will be auctioning off over 1000 Hollywood costumes and props including several personal items from Hollywood icons Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Sammy Davis Jr., Liberace and Michael Jackson, plus hundreds of items from contemporary films including the "Harry Potter" and "Piranha" franchises, "What to Except When You are Expecting," and "Seeking a Friend For the End of the World" during their Hollywood Extravaganza VI today, June 23 and Sunday, June 24, 2012. The auction will take place at Premiere Props' headquarters in El Segundo, Calif. beginning at 11am PT, with a preview from 9-11am PT each day.
