A State Theatre Fan Favorite, Bobby Collins is the #1 most played and requested comedian on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio. The 'most natural comedian working today,' according to the New York Times, returns to the State Theatre on Friday, March 21st.

Comix At Foxwoods will host the multitalented comedian, actor and Broadway star, John Pinette, for a hilarious, one-night-only performance on Saturday, May 24 at 8 p.m.

San Jose Rep, the flagship theatre of San Jose, has just announced its full 2014-15 season, which is set to include two world premieres- Wuthering Heights and The 12. Returning to Las Vegas for a record-smashing 55th consecutive year, internationally renowned comedian, actor and entertainer Don Rickles is set for The Orleans Showroom in 2014. The upcoming March 22-23 dates for Don Rickles at The Orleans Hotel and Casino have been postponed to August 16-17. Tickets for the August dates will go on sale May 3. Mr. Rickles' previously announced October 11-12 dates at The Orleans remain intact and on schedule.

On Sunday, February 16 LA's Next Great Stage Star 2014 came to an exciting conclusion at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal. After an amazing two-hour program in which the 20 contestants gave 150% to their uptempo songs from Broadway shows, fourteen contestants were eliminated and the top six* finalists selected. After a brief intermission, each of the six then proceeded to perform a second number after which the distinguished panel of 18 judges made the final decision. Musical director par excellence James Lent accompanied at the piano throughout the three hour show.

On Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 p.m. in Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, high school singers from across New York City and young artists from the recently launched Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra (JLCYO) will join together to perform works from Duke Ellington's celebrated Sacred Music concerts. The afternoon's performance is led by jazz composer, arranger, and recognized authority on the music of Duke Ellington and the Swing era David Berger, along with special guest soloists alto Lalah Hathaway, baritone Rufus Bond Jr., soprano Nicole Cabell, tenor saxophonist Jimmy Heath, trumpeter and composer Sean Jones, trombonist and JLYCO Director Vincent Gardner, and tap dancer Jason Samuels Smith.

Many show business greats have been honored by the Friars Club, and have performed before an audience of entertainment savvy members at the club house on 55th street. Nicole Henry was the latest addition to that list on Feb. 10. This great tradition was continued in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room with an event produced by Friar Historian Bruce Charet and co-produced by Friar Jeff Leibowitz. Singer/pianist Loston Harris was also on the bill. Rosario Dawson hosted the evening of great dining and great music.

Platinum selling singer/songwriter and 2013 Grammy winner Billy Vera is gearing up for a string of dates with his Big Band Jazz Orchestra at Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood along with special guest Jazz recordist artist Tamela D'Amico. All Sinatra a tribute to Frank Sinatra originally was set to close on February 23, but due to overwhelming popularity and the demand for tickets, the Quality Hill Playhouse in Kansas City has extended the run to March 9. Sellout crowds filled the playhouse two out of the three performances for the productions opening weekend and since Opening Night on January 24 has been a sell out over a dozen times.
