On December 10, 2013 Diane Schuur turned 60. She also completed her first-ever recording in homage to her two most important and influential mentors: Stan Getz (who discovered her at the Monterey Jazz Festival in 1979) and Frank Sinatra, whose artwork hangs prominently in her Palm Springs home. Entitled I Remember You (With Love to Stan and Frank), the album of twelve songs, all previously recorded by Getz or Sinatra, or both, was produced by Diane and her new manager, Mary Ann Topper, at Avatar Studios in New York, and is set for release on Jazzheads, June 10, 2014. It also features a stellar cast of musicians, including: Alan Broadbent (arrangements/piano), Roni Ben-Hur and Romero Lubambo (guitars), Joel Frahm (saxophone) , Ben Wolfe (bass) and Ulysses Owens Jr. on drums.

On Thursday, June 12 at 8:00 PM, Martinis Above Fourth Table + Stage in San Diego and Sher Krieger Events are presenting Sacha in 'Sacha Sings Sinatra.' Grammy-nominated Jazz recording artist Sacha Boutros will sing a selection of Sinatra songs including his biggest hits and other favorites from the extensive Frank Sinatra catalogue. San Diego-native Boutros and her fabulous musicians are set to dazzle the audience with a night of everything Francis Albert. Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show opened on Tuesday May 27 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Directed by Billy Karl the show marks the end of the 2013-2014 season for the Theater League of Kansas City.

Electric Youth (EY), the international touring ensemble of singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), will perform at Showcase Live at Patriot Place in Foxboro on Friday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. The event is a Bon Voyage Concert for Electric Youth, coming just days before the ensemble departs on June 19th for a three-week concert tour of Austria and Italy. The group's 11th European tour will include a return Fourth of July engagement at Aviano Air Force Base to entertain U.S. Troops and families stationed abroad.

Landau will hit it big in the Big Apple, (no doubt singing "New York, New York") by performing an up-close, intimate late-night dinner show with his small jazz combo. Award-winning actress and singer Lea Michele is confirmed to perform a duet with Kristin Chenoweth when Chenoweth is inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame at this year's Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Saturday, June 21, at 8 pm. The two first performed together on the television series "Glee" in 2009, when Chenoweth's recurring character "April Rhodes" and Michele's "Rachel Berry" sang "Maybe This Time" from Cabaret.
