The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will begin previews on Wednesday, March 14 for NO PLACE TO GO, directed by Leigh Silverman and written by Ethan Lipton with music composed by Ethan Lipton and His Orchestra. NO PLACE TO GO is the first Joe's Pub commission, as part of its New York Voices Series, to become part of The Public Theater's season. Single tickets, priced at $30, are on sale now.

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced casting for its first main stage production of the year, Mr. & Mrs. Fitch, written by Douglas Carter Beane. Krista Scott directs Bradley Campbell and Meg MacCary in this comedy running April 12-29 at The Hardy and Betty Sanders Theatre at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.

The Public Theater announced today that Alan Cumming, Montego Glover, Gabriel Kahane, Ethan Lipton, Kelli O'Hara, and Benjamin Walker would join the star-studded PUBLIC SINGS! benefit on Monday, March 5 at Joe's Pub. This unforgettable evening will celebrate the rich history of musicals produced by The Public Theater, including HAIR, A Chorus Line, and Caroline, or Change, as well as new musicals in development like February House premiering at The Public this May. Directed by Daisy Prince with musical direction by Chris Fenwick, this one-night-only event will also include the previously announced Laura Benanti, David Byrne, Raul Esparza, Jesse L. Joe's Pub at the Public Theater announced today its initial lineup of fall programming set to debut in the newly renovated and improved iconic venue, located in New York City's East Village.

Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, announced that Joe's Pub at The Public Theater has been approved for a grant to support New York Voices at Joe's Pub, a series celebrating New York City's diversity in performance and culture, presenting collaborations between artists from sound and stage.

Now in its fifth year, Make Music New York, 'the largest music event ever to grace Gotham' (Metro New York), is a unique festival of free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City, all on June 21st, the first day of summer.
