Jackalope to Welcome Cor Theatre for Pioneer Series This Spring

Jackalope Theatre Company is proud to announce that it has selected Cor Theatre for participation in The Pioneer Series. The Pioneer Series is Jackalope's continuous initiative to cultivate bold new theatre in Chicago. Through an extensive application process, Jackalope selected Cor Theatre to receive a free primetime 4-week run in The Frontier, at 1106 W Thorndale in Chicago, in the spring of 2016.

The Flea will present the New York Premiere of THE OLD MASTERS. After a run at the First Look Repertory of New Work at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, Sam Marks' dark examination of marriage comes to The Flea. It will be directed by Resident Director Brandon Stock. Previews begin May 27 with opening night set for June 7.

The Flea Welcomes Niegel Smith as New Artistic Director

The Flea Theater has selected Niegel Smith as its Artistic Director. Smith, a director and performance artist with extensive experience at the Public Theater and other venues, will assume the post on May 18. His appointment was announced by Founding Artistic Director Jim Simpson, Producing Director Carol Ostrow, and The Flea's Board of Directors.
