A ferocious new version of Moliere's comic masterpiece, Tartuffe, by John Donnelly, directed by Blanche McIntyre will open in February in the Lyttelton Theatre. Denis O'Hare makes his NT debut as Tartuffe, and is joined by Kevin Doyle as Orgon and Olivia Williams as Elmire.

The award-winning absurdist comedy The Omission of the Family Coleman by Claudio Tolcachir, in a new version by Stella Feehily, is announced as the third and final production in A Season of UK Premieres from the Americas at Theatre Royal Bath's Ustinov Studio. The play will be directed by Laurence Boswell and will run from 28 March to 27 April 2019 with opening night for press on 3 April.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions today releases production images for the UK premiere of Donald Margulies' award-winning black comedy The Model Apartment. The opening production in the Ustinov Studio's new Season of UK Premieres from the Americas is directed by Laurence Boswell and will run until 22 December with opening night for press on 28 November, starring Emily Bruni, Ian Gelder, Enyi Okoronkwo and Diana Quick.

Theatre Royal Bath today announces A Season of UK Premieres from the Americas at the Ustinov Studio opening next month. The Model Apartment by Pulitzer Prize winner Donald Margulies, directed by Laurence Boswell will run from 22 November to 22 December with opening night for press on 28 November. This will be followed by Tanya Barfield's play with music, Blue Door, directed by Eleanor Rhode from 7 February to 9 March 2019, and a third production, to be announced, will complete the season.

Hamilton's Olivier Award-winning actor Giles Terera will present his new play The Meaning of Zong on Bristol Old Vic's stage this Thursday (11 Oct) for a one-night-only workshop performance. The piece examines the massacre aboard the slave ship Zong in 1781 and the repercussions of these events, which influenced the growing abolition movement in the UK. This rehearsed reading will be followed by a free post-show talk with Giles Terera, Tom Morris and the cast.

Michael Boyd's much anticipated production of The Cherry Orchard has begun rehearsals for the Bristol Old Vic and Royal Exchange Theatre co-production. Rory Mullarkey's brand-new translation will be directed by Boyd, celebrated former Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). Having studied Russian and trained as a director in Moscow, extraordinarily, he will be directing Chekhov - the literary love of his life - for the first time.

???????The King's Head Theatre today announces a new production of Paul Boakye's Boy with Beer, directed by Harry Mackrill, 25 years after the original production at the Man in the Moon Theatre.  Enyi Okoronkwo plays Donovan and Chin Nyenwe plays Karl in the production, which also features new music from Taurean Antoine Chagar, regular collaborator of acclaimed drum and bass group Rudimental.  It opens at the King's Head Theatre, on 11 November, with previews from 8 November, running until 26 November.

World Premiere of ARTHUR'S WORLD Set for Bush Theatre

The Bush Theatre will host the premiere of Arthur's World, produced by Kensal House-based charity SPID Theatre, from 27 January to 14 February 2015, in its upstairs theatre space the Bush Attic. Arthur's World is written by SPID Theatre Artistic Director Helena Thompson and directed by Mel Cook.
