American Theater Company (ATC) presents the world premiere of Bruise Easy by Dan LeFranc,now through Feb. 14, 2016. American Theater Company (ATC) announces casting for its world premiere of Bruise Easy by Dan LeFranc, Jan. 8-Feb. 14, 2016, about two estranged siblings who reunite at their childhood home for the conversation of a lifetime. ATC Ensemble Member Kelly O'Sullivan performs the role of Tess, returning after starring in ATC's critically acclaimed world premiere of The Humans last season. Matt Farabee makes his ATC debut performing the role of Alec. The ensemble includes ATC Youth Ensemble Members Matt Gomez-Hidaka, Jenna Makkaway, Michael Sandoval and Leah Schiffman, with Dante Guinazzo, Leslie Lawrence and Sandy Nguyen. Bruise Easy is the first mainstage production in ATC's history to feature Youth Ensemble members among the company.

Friedman Theatre, 261 West 47th Street, New York City.

Friedman Theatre, 261 West 47th Street, New York City.

The Irish Repertory Theatre will honor the life and legacy of the great Irish playwright Brian Friel (January 9, 1929 - October 2, 2015) with a memorial celebration to be held on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, 261 West 47th Street, New York City.  Doors will open at 3:30 PM and the celebration will begin at 4:00 PM.   This event is open to the public but attendees must RSVP to friel@irishrep.org and indicate number of attendees.  

The McCarter Theatre Center's production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol has become a welcome holiday treat for families across the region. This heartwarming and powerfully honest musical adaptation of Dickens' classic novel is a wonderful way to honor tradition while experiencing the joys and warmth of a holiday favorite. A Christmas Carol runs from Dec. 4 through Dec. 27 on the Matthews Stage.

On Monday, November 9, 2015 Theatre Communications Group (TCG) hosted their annual benefit honoring actor Brian Dennehy and celebrating TCG's American Theatre magazine, at the Edison Ballroom.

Hartford Stage will present Dan O'Brien's bold, radically theatrical and poetic true story, The Body of an American, with direction by Jo Bonney and featuring Michael Crane and Michael Cumpsty, from January 7-31, 2016.
