SHN today announced the complete five-show 2012-2013 Season under the direction of Carole Shorenstein Hays. Productions joining the previously announced engagement of 2011 Tony Award-Winning Best Musical - THE BOOK OF MORMON are: the pre-Broadway world premiere of DINER, Disney's THE LION KING, the Tony Award-winning revival of ANYTHING GOES and Bay Area favorite WICKED.

A one-night-only staged reading of 8, the powerful play about the federal district court trial contesting the Proposition 8 voter ban in 2008 on same sex marriages in California, will have its New Jersey premiere at Montclair State University on Saturday, March 24 at the L. Howard Fox Theatre. The reading is set to feature: Roscoe Orman, Jamie Laverdiere, Rachel de Benedet, and Susan A. Cole, with a post show discussion with Jeff Zarrillo (moderated by Gavin Creel).

On last night's episode of ABC's hit comedy series MODERN FAMILY entitled 'Send Out the Clowns, Tony Award-Winner Ellen Barkin ('The Big Easy,' 'Ocean's Thirteen') and Bobby Cannavale ('Will & Grace,' 'Third Watch') made guest star appearances. The episode took place at the funeral service for a beloved clown mentor which reunited Cameron with his estranged ex-clown partner, Lewis (Bobby Cannavale). Also in the episode, Phil was serious about landing a very important listing, only to get trumped by a notorious bulldozer of an agent, Verna Roth (Ellen Barkin); and Manny had a cool new friend, which made both Jay and Gloria suspicious. Ellen Barkin and Megan Hilty are among the expected guests at the 23rd GLAAD Media Awards, while producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan will be honored with the Vito Russo Award. Other expected guests at the New York awards include Kim Cattrall, Tracey Gold, Cory Monteith, Jay Manuel, and Dakota Fanning, with performances from the Radio City Rockettes, corey Craig and Whitney Day. The Los Angeles awards will feature Ellen DeGeneres, Fran Dresher, Anna Paquin and Betty White.

As previously reported, actor Matt Bomer has been cast on Fox's GLEE in the role of the older brother of Darren Criss' Blaine Anderson. According to a report today on TVLine.com, 'After some long and intense negotiations, '80s supergroup Duran Duran has cleared two - possibly three - tracks for the hit Fox series,' and the songs will be sung by Criss and Bomer as a mash-up.

According to published reports, Broadway veteran Matthew Morrison and Matt Bomer have joined the cast of the Los Angeles reading of Dustin Lance Black's Prop 8 play, '8.' Morrison will star as 'Jeff Zarillo' and Bomer as 'Paul Katami' in the reading, which will play the Wilshire Ebell Theatre on March 3, 2012. They join previously announced George Clooney.
